Andrew Shue, the actor who played "Billy" on the original rendition of Melrose Place, has refused to reprise the role that once made him a household name saying he doesn't think the show should be brought back. Shue noted that the show had a great run during its initial incarnation but that the series shouldn't be brought back. Interestingly enough, both Laura Leighton and Thomas Calabro will both be reprising their roles, taking their place alongside Ashlee Simpson-Wentz on the new series.
Keep in mind that just because Billy isn't coming back doesn't mean you should avoid your plans to move to Melrose Place or any other location.
