Sometimes its tough to find parking for our trucks to service your relocation. If you are moving to or from an area where parking is a concern, try and prepare to make a spot available for your movers when they arrive. This will make your move go faster and get you closer to a moment where you can take a sigh of relief that your moving day is finished, and then, you can feel that special sense of accomplishment.
In some locations, such as in San Francisco, residents can request a parking permit for their movers' trucks on the reserved moving day. The city officials may reserve spaces for the truck so that you won't have access issues on the day of the move.
If this isn't an option in your location, ask some friends to help you reserve two adjacent spots in front of your door street-side for the moving truck to park. You'll need a space big enough to accommodate the truck that is coming to you, so ask your Starving Students representative what size truck will be coming to you on your move day .
