With news of General Motor's bankruptcy fresh in our minds, it should come as no surprise that GM has decided to sell off their Saturn brand to Penske Motors. The deal is part of a larger plan that General Motors has put in place after filing for bankruptcy on Monday. Saturn originally cost GM somewhere in the neighborhood of $5 billion in the late 1980s when you factor in development costs and factories, but sales peaked at only 286,000 when union issues arose for GM causing all sorts of problems.
As GM continues to try and save money after declaring bankruptcy and selling off Saturn, we'd like to remind them that they can also save money by offering the Cram Session to their employees or even people who buy Saturn vehicles by clicking here . Or, they can simply call (888) 931-MOVE (6683) and ask us how we can save them money on their next move.
